A professional
actor since the age of 12, Christian Campbell has been active in
film, theater and television. His film credits include Hair Shirt,
which he also produced, co-starring his sister Neve Campbell; and
the upcoming Next Time, which won the 1998 'Discovery Award' and
'Best Film in 16mm' at the Hollywood Film Festival.
Campbell
began working in television while attending the Claude Watson School
for Performing Arts in his native Toronto. His early credits include
a recurring role on the popular series "Degrassi High," and featured
performances in the TV movies "Clarence" and "Circle of Fear." After
relocating to the U.S., he was cast as a regular on the William
Shatner series "Tek War" and Aaron Spelling's "Malibu Shores." He
also starred in the NBC thriller "I've Been Waiting for You" and
the NBC miniseries "Seduced By Madness" opposite Ann-Margaret.
Campbell
made his professional debut in a production of Herb Gardner's "A
Thousand Clowns" and theater continues to be an abiding passion.
In 1997, he acquired the Lexington Theatre in Los Angeles and founded
its resident theater company, The Blue Sphere Alliance. He starred
in BSA's production of "Nagasaki Dust," which was nominated for
a Theatre LA Award, and made his directorial debut to critical and
popular acclaim with William Rehor's "Reach." Campbell is presently
working on the musical comedy "Reefer Madness" to world premiere
in spring 1999 at the Hudson Theater in Los Angeles.
