As a child growing up in the Bronx, Miss Coco Peru's parents took her out of school early one day and drove her down to Manhattan saying, "We have a surprise for you." The surprise? A trip to Radio City Music Hall where Coco saw the Rockettes and Barbra Striesand in the film What's Up Doc? She hasn't been the same since. In college, prior to doing drag, Miss Coco studied to be an actor and was told by her professors to "butch up and lose the Bronx accent." Miss Coco told them, "But that's not funny" and decided to do neither. Future projects for Miss Coco include: stalking Mark, having lunch with Shirley MacLaine and laughing because they can, and the release of her new protective eyewear called "On a Clear Day You Can See Forever."
